Another Bank Holiday, another load of DIY. After spending Saturday doing sod all (which was much needed to recover from Guy & Ginette's wedding), we decided to get rid of the cryptalike, purple wallpaper that had dazzled all visitors to our dining room. No more sitting in gloom, we now have bare plaster instead, which you'd think would be terrible but is, in fact, a massive improvement. I'd hoping we can just leave it like this and not have to wallpaper the room but it's unlikely that that will be allowed.
